Steve Trice

Councillor

I moved to the village in 2009 together with my wife Sue, and our two teenage sons.  We also have two grown up daughters, one of whom lives in the US and the other in Buckingham, both married with two children each.  Our lives are therefore predominantly focused on our family life, and our home is usually a busy place!

I am a Member of the Institute of the Motor Industry having had a career in motor retailing, working for large PLC’s for most of my working life.  I started out as an apprentice vehicle technician, but after IMI qualification, spent the bulk of my career in dealership line and general management.  I now work on a part-time freelance consultancy basis, mostly in the Middle East for a well-known German brand.  When I am not working, I have a passion for DIY and the occasional round of golf.

I joined the Finmere Village Hall Committee early in 2013 and have enjoyed being part of the team involved in the fund raising and refurbishment of this great village asset.  As a Parish Councillor, I look forward to making whatever contribution I can, to make Finmere a safe and attractive place for the whole community to enjoy.
