I moved to Finmere from Tingewick, just over 20 years ago and have been married to Sandra for 34 years. We have two daughters, both of whom are now married.

I joined the Parish Council in 2002 and became Chairman in 2003. In the past, I have been involved in both of the, unsuccessful, FAMAGE campaigns, to prevent the establishment and growth of Finmere Landfill site, but have enjoyed success as campaign coordinator in the Public Enquiry over the proposed MG Rover car storage facility at Finmere Airfield.

When not involved with family, farm and Parish Council issues, I work as an independent computer consultant, specialising in the solution of awkward problems – although none are as awkward as the issues currently posed by Finmere Landfill!
